Springs Fiduciary has a proven track record of success since 2015 as Hasling & Associates. There is a substantial need for professional financial and medical fiduciaries to assist at-risk adults and minors in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. Employing both such professionals under one roof ensures an increased level of care for our clients.
Our office maintains Errors and Omissions Insurance for the protection of the company and clients. All employees are background checked by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. The State of Colorado does not require a conservator or guardian to be licensed or certified by the state or any other licensing agency.

Meet the team
Owner & Fiduciary
Josh Howard
Josh Howard is the owner of Springs Fiduciary Services. Before buying Hasling & Associates in 2024, he was a financial fiduciary with them for seven years. He assists clients as a conservator, trustee, power of attorney, and personal representative. Previously, he was a financial advisor with Edward Jones where he assisted clients with their retirement and investment accounts. Josh also worked as a personal banker and small business specialist for JPMorgan Chase for over five years. He graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a B.S. in finance.
Financial Fiduciary
Dawn Lane
Dawn Lane is a financial fiduciary at Springs Fiduciary Services. She brings a strong passion for advocacy, innovative case management skills, and a deep sense of empathy to her work. Dawn holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Business Administration, equipping her with a unique blend of expertise in client care, advocacy, and financial management.
Medical Fiduciary
Ashley Sampsel
Ashley Sampsel is a medical fiduciary at Springs Fiduciary Services. A Colorado Springs resident for over 30 years, she brings a deep commitment to service and community care. Ashley spent seventeen years in law enforcement, where she developed strong skills in advocacy, crisis response, and ethical decision-making. During her time in the field, she taught more than 20 academies and trained hundreds of deputy sheriffs, earning recognition for her leadership—including the Lifesaving Award. She holds an associate’s degree in accounting.
